McConnell’s Fine Ice Creams was founded by Gordon “Mac” McConnell and his wife, Ernesteen, in Santa Barbara, California, in 1949. Then, as now, we had one goal: to make the greatest ice cream on Earth in the Universe.
We've been doing it the same way for nearly 70 years. Using the finest ingredients - from fresh, local, grass-fed milk and cream (we pasteurize it ourselves, at The Old Dairy, in downtown, Santa Barbara) to cage-free organic eggs, pure cane sugar and our unique and indulgent mixes and recipes. And never any fillers, stabilizers, artificial flavors or additives. Never had 'em. Never will.
Then we bring it together using Mac’s original, one-of-a-kind, Hybrid French Pot Process. In a sea of nouveau artisan creameries, McConnell’s is the original - a family-operated, heritage brand.

We serve the largest assortment of fresh frozen regular low calorie and low fat yogurts in all of Santa Barbara and made fresh daily in your store.
Super friendly services in a super clean environment are important to McConnell's Fine Ice Creams & Yogurts. We are located on the corner of Mission Street and De La Vina, two blocks off State Street.
